    Release Date: June 17, 2016

Boomerocity became an instant fan of The Alexis P. Suter Band while reviewing her then new CD, Love The Way You Roll, and couldn’t wait for their next release.

    That wait is over.

All For Loving You, the new studio release by Alexis P Suter Band, is raw, hip shaking, heart aching blues from the soul! Produced by Ben Elliott & APSB, this collection truly captures the live feel of Alexis and her mighty band.

I could end this review right now by saying that the entire cost of the CD is worth paying just to hear their cover of the Beatles classic, Let It Be.

    Yeah, it’s that great.

It will send chills up and down your spine. This cut, alone, is worth the entire price of the CD.

This new recording contains 10 brand new songs penned by APSB as well as their incredible cover of the Beatles classic, Let It Be, and each and every one of them are great.

Alexis P. Suter is the owner of that big, booming voice you can hear roaring out of Brooklyn into the heart of North America and beyond. The Alexis P. Suter Band are on the rise as accolades pour in and they continue to captivate audiences from town to town.

APSB are a powerful and unique 5 piece ensemble who artfully blend the lines between Blues, Soul and Rock music. Alexis' voice ranges from a pained passion to explosive and soul bearing. Her band is also on fire manned by the power trio of Bennett, Bennett and Grappone. Jimmy Bennett is a guitar phenomenon with a fierce and ferocious tone. Drummer Ray Grappone and Peter Bennett on bass lay down the groove like a heavy duty Rhythm and Blues machine. Along with the trio is the very talented backing vocalist Vicki Bell.

Believe us when we say that, if you buy any CD this month, it really should be this one.

Once in a while I get a CD in the mail of an artist I’m not familiar with and I don’t listen to it right away. Then, when I do get around to finally listening to it, I kick myself in my ample butt for not listening to it immediately upon receipt.

“Love The Way You Roll” – the latest disc by The Alexis P. Suter Band – is one such CD. Wowie, wow, wow! This woman and her band deliver up a smokin’ hot serving of soulful blues that will grab you and not let go of you until she’s dang well good and ready.

    Yeah, she’s that good!

Alexis and the band grabs you by throat from the git go with the opening tune, “Nuthin’ in the World”. She kicks some major butt with Jimmy Bennett’s amazing guitar work – and they stay the course with fast, slow, happy or sad tunes throughout the twelve song foray. Obviously, this tune is on one of the hard-to-choose-from-them-all favorites for Boomerocity.

With the exception of Big Mama Thornton’s “You Don’t Move Me No More” and “Shake Your Hips” by Slim Harpo, all of the cuts on this album were penned by the band. So, sitting those two aside, I’ll randomly pick two more favorites to highlight.
“Gonna Love You” is some of the most amazing new blues you’re going to hear short of going to the crossroads your own bad self. It’s gritty. It’s down. It’ll make you sway. Yeah, it’s that good!

“Anything” very well could be the new “I’d Rather Go Blind” – and I don’t say that lightly. It’s freakin’ amazing!  I slapped the repeat button on my player so much that it started to slap back. Alexis’s vocals will send shivers up and down your spine and Bennett’s guitar licks will loop infinitely in your mind.

If you love soul, if you love blues, if you love it all rolled into one and you want to hear something besides covers, then “Love The Way You Roll” is THE must-have CD for your collection.
