Creatures
Acidic
Label: Acidic

Acidic been labeled “the hardest-working, hottest young rock band in Southern California” and, judging by their new disc, “Creatures”, I can see why.

Their new album, “Creatures”, is chock full of songs that are said to have been wowing crowds at such recent major events as the 2014 Vans Warped Tour as well as their sold-out show at famed West Hollywood music venue, Doug Weston’s Troubadour.

“Creatures” is Acidic’s first CD to be reviewed by Boomerocity and is the third collaboration with multi-platinum award-winning producer John Ryan of Chicago Kid Productions (Styx, Santana, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers), and the  follow-up to previous albums, 2013’s “Copper Man” and 2011’s “Chronic Satisfaction".

“Creatures” is full of well written, brilliantly performed, and meticulously recorded tunes that grab your attention and won’t let go until they’re finished saying what they have to say.

Randomly chosen Boomerocity favorites out of this treasure chest of rock gems are:

Keep your eye on Acidic. I’m not going to be at all surprised if we hear more about them . . . and on the national stage.
