Songs like, “You Don’t Mess Around With Jim,” Bad, Bad Leroy Brown,” “Time In A Bottle,” and “I Got A Name” instantly come to mind.

That’s because the writer and singer of those songs, Jim Croce, achieved musical greatness with those songs – songs that I still heard on the radio and in establishments all over the world every day. That greatness and timelessness came from a career that lasted only eighteen months. Sadly, Croce met an untimely death in a plane crash. A death that left a loving wife, Ingrid, and a son, A.J., who turned two years old eight days after his death.

Ingrid and A.J.’s story from that moment on is one of serious challenges and rising above them. In the case of A.J., as a successful artist and musician in his own right. With eleven solo albums and CROCE black.white1Click Above To Buy Tickets To A Show Near Youcountless collaborations under his belt, A.J. tours to connect with his fan base. Croce’s latest album, By Request, is already a fan favorite and tunes from it will be featured on his current tour.

The interview featured in the video, below, focuses on A.J.’s career, influences, and what fans can expect from his current tour. Whether or not you are a fan of his dad’s work, I genuinely believe that you will thoroughly enjoy the conversation that A.J. and I had.

You can buy A.J.'s music and keep up with him at his website, AJCroceMusic.com, as well as on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram.
