As you know, last month (April 2023) we celebrated our 14th year of existence. It was 14 years ago last month that Boomerocity first launched, and honestly, I didn't think it was going to last more than a year. But here we are beginning our 15th month. After the first year, an amazing woman I interviewed was the lady by the name of Sass Jordan, and my gosh, is this woman ever talented! Especially when she does rock and blues, which is basically what she does.
Over the years, I interviewed her a total of three times. The interview below is my fourth interview with Sass. Always entertaining. Always fun. Always deep. You never know what she's going to say because there's so much on her mind and she has so much to say. And I just absolutely love and adore this artist because she's highly talented, talented.
In this latest interview, Sass and I talked about her first and only live album that was recorded originally back in 1994 in New York and it's just now seeing the light of day. Believe it or not, it has the late great Taylor Hawkins on the drums. He played with Sass back in those days before he went on to join the ever-famous Foo Fighters. So, naturally, we talked about Taylor a little bit. We also talked about the passing of Gordon Lightfoot. But mostly about this amazing music she's doing and a couple other projects that she's working on.
So, if you would - when you get done listening to it (or watching it) - would you like it on YouTube or on your podcast channel? Also, we would be thrilled if you would subscribe to us so that we can keep you apprised of what's going on at Boomerocity. Oh, and it wouldn’t hurt our feelings one bit if you shared the interview with your friends.
You can keep up with Sass Jordan on her website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
