Lady Antebellum (Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood) is one of the most successful country acts to be birthed in the new millennia.  Since its 2006 inception, Lady A has won the “Vocal Group of the Year” honor from both the CMA and from the ACM’s three times in a row and sold over 11 million albums worldwide. The trio has taken seven trips to number one on the country radio charts, earned five Platinum singles including their recent Downtown and has been awarded seven GRAMMY awards including the all-genre “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year.” In the end, the mix of their road experiences, songwriting and creative partnership have allowed the magic to remain - because they have kept the focus on the music.

The band’s fourth album was a Christmas album entitled On This Winter’s Night released in 2012. The harmony-based trio continues to reaffirm the very beginnings of Lady Antebellum by focusing on deft songwriting and fresh uses of their talents, which was at the heart of what drew them together in the first place. In support of that album, Lady A filmed a live performance of its songs at Nashville’s famed Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Backed by more than 40 symphony orchestra musicians, presenting incredible versions of classic holiday tunes, the performance establishes the group as a new Christmas staple.

Nestled between these 11 live tracks are anecdotes that the band are sharing with their fans for the first time — personal Christmas stories, memories, and traditions, all gift-wrapped in classics like A Holly Jolly Christmas, Silver Bells, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, and the Lady Antebellum original On This Winter’s Night. The DVD features not only these songs, but also includes a bonus promo video for A Holly Jolly Christmas, five acoustic tracks (Blue Christmas, The First Noel, Silent Night (Lord Of My Life), Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, and A Holly Jolly Christmas), and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

On This Winter’s Night beautifully captures a very special, intimate evening with Lady Antebellum, and is the perfect stocking stuffer for any Lady Antebellum fan.
