Okay, I’ll admit that you’ve seen all the videos in the 33 video/2-DVD set, Queen Greatest Video Hits.  Yes, you probably already know that there are over three hours long on these two DVDs by one of the greatest visual bands in rock history. “So, what’s the big deal about this DVD set?” you ask.  Great question.

Here’s the deal: THIS set of DVD’s have been upgraded digitally in DTS 5.1 Surround Sound. Oh, and there is added commentary from lead guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor.  This duo of disc documents Queen’s pioneering and groundbreaking video history into a seamless video offering that is stunning in its depth and thoroughness making it the first time that this collection will be released in one package.

The first disc focuses heavily on the early days of Queen in the 1970s, just as music video were beginning to emerge as an art form. Videos such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, Flash (from the 1980 sci-fi film Flash Gordon) are all included as well as We Will Rock You, Spread Your Wings, and Bohemian Rhapsody. The eighties and nineties era of Queen are covered on Disc 2 with videos such as Radio Ga Ga, One Vision (a Boomerocity favorite), I Want To Break Free, and The Miracle.

So, Queen fans, you’ll definitely want to snatch up your own copy of Queen Greatest Video Hits – sooner rather than later.
